Angilyiya Mitchell, born near the Blackstone Ranges in 1953, is a member of the Papulankutja community in Western Australia. She is the main guardian of important female dream places, the spiritual guardian of Kuru Ala, which is one of the sites associated with the Dream of the Seven Sisters. Angilyiya Mitchell began painting in 1994.
