Melissa Williams Napangardi is from Yuendumu, 290km north-west of Alice Springs. Melissa Williams Napangardi began painting at the art centre in 2004. She paints dreams passed down from her father, including the Wanakiji Jukurrpa (bush tomato dream), the Yarla Jukurrpa (bush potato dream) and the Yuparli Jukurrpa (bush banana dream). Melissa Williams Napangardi also paints the dream inherited from her mother: the Wardapi Jukurrpa (goanna dream). 

Melissa Williams Napangardi develops a modern interpretation of traditional motifs with a broad palette of colours.
