Ruth Bindeidbal is an Aboriginal artist from Maningrida, located in the Arnhem Land region of northern Australia. She creates bark paintings as well as sculptures representing Mimih spirits, which she adorns with traditional geometric designs that hold ritual and clan significance – motifs known as rarrk in western Arnhem Land.
