Born in Great Britain, Alastair McNaughton studied art before embarking on a career as an illustrator. Passionate about photography, he then decided to travel the world with his camera. After Africa and India, he arrived in Australia and lived for two years in the community of Coonana (Western Australia) where he took photos illustrating scenes of daily life or the characteristic landscapes of Coonana. He has since settled in Sydney and also pays homage to this city as in this shot of the legendary Sydney Bridge in the mist.
