Ningura's palette is limited to black, white and red ochre, the symbol of the female blood spilled during childbirth; it testifies to the profoundly vitalist character of the artist's inspiration, who, by celebrating the birth of a child, also pays homage to the continuous creation that is the Dreamtime and thus contributes to its permanence.
