The roundels in this painting represent a series of rock holes at the Wirripi site east of Jupiter Well. In mythological times, a large group of Tingari men travelled to this site for ceremonial purposes. They were escorted by novices and followed by Tingari women. Their journeys and adventures are recorded in a number of song cycles.
