Pantjiya celebrates the sacred site of Kungkiyunti (Browns Bore) to the west of Haasts Bluff.

Legend has it that at the time of the world's creation, a group of women from the artist's clan, suffering terribly from the cold, came to this site to die.

The concentric circles can be both the site's water holes and the bent backs of the women struggling against the cold.

As for the colors, they evoke the red of the wild tomatoes on which the women fed during their journey.
