"The Raining Series of works are as viewed from my place in bed, whilst pondering motherhood, womanhood and its like to be dyin (woman). Many mothers feel a stronger connection to country and culture after the birth of a child, and for me this is absolutely the case. These works are my dreams, they are my worries and anxieties, and they are my joy."
