Nellie Njamme is a lawyer and the younger sister of Bai Bai Napangarti, both of whom come from an area called Yagga Yagga, south of Balgo Hills. Nellie began painting alongside many members of her family, who went on to become famous artists. Nellie is the keeper of the dream of the seven sisters in Nakarra Nakarra. Her subject and painting style have a strong, bold presence, typical of artists from this region. Here, the artist represents Yagga Yagga through her use of dot painting (representative of Aboriginal art) and her palette of bright colours. Yagga is located in the north-east of Western Australia, at an altitude of around 346 m above sea level.
