Ngapa Jukurrpa (Water Dreaming) - Puyurru
Glenda Martin Napanangka was born in 1980 in Yuendumu, 290 km north-west of Alice Springs in north-west Australia. Glenda is the granddaughter of Shorty Robertson Jangala, a former active member of the Yuendumu Art Centre.
Glenda Martin Napanangka joined the centre in 2014. She illustrates her grandfather's dreams (Water Dreaming) - Puyurru, stories directly linked to her land, particularly the Puyurru water hole. Glenda Martin Napanangka uses an original colour palette and mixes her own motifs with ancestral ones.
