Kim Norman has been working at the Pormpuraaw Art Centre in regional Queensland since 2016. As an artist, he demonstrates great skill in designing and making sculptural works using aluminium cable fishing nets and found materials: ghostnet art. These works are often sea creatures and reflect his respect for his totems and ancestors.
