Here, the artist offers a "satellite" view of his native region: the sobriety of his palette and a graphic style reminiscent of a geological map in no way detract from the work's ability to breathe in the mysteries of the original land, secretly traversed by the Great Ancestor Kangaroo (Alerta in Aboriginal dialect) who gives his name to the canvas. This work was exhibited at the Musée d'Art Contemporain les Abattoirs in Toulouse as part of the "Temps du Rêve / Dreamtime" exhibition in 2009.
