Kimberley-born Clarrie Djanghara is inspired by the "silhouettes" of primitive deities painted on the walls of sacred caves in prehistoric times.
In this work, the artist represents a new life and shows the animals that people ate as game. He depicts mothers, fathers, babies and eggs. He also illustrates wallabies, flying possums and Wunggurr water snakes, and suggests the tracks left by the animals.
