Like most Aboriginal painters, Andrea evokes a story of the primordial Dreamtime, during which mythical beings created Australia and founded the moral, religious and spiritual laws that still govern Aboriginal culture today. With this painting, the artist evokes the Dream of Love. In the Dreamtime, Lintipilinti - a Jungarrayi man - who lived at the place called "Red Rock" (Ngarlu), east of Yuendumu, fell madly in love with his mother-in-law, a Napangardi woman. This love was impossible because of clan laws. However, he managed to charm the woman, but as their union was forbidden, they were immediately transformed into the two rocks that can be seen today in Ngarlu.
