Wamud Namok is the deceased name of Lofty Bardayal Nadjamerrek. This name is a tradition among the Kunijku people of Arnhem Land.
Considered one of the leading Aboriginal figurative artists, he has produced numerous representations of the territory's emblematic animals.
This work was notably presented as part of the exhibition "Chasseur de rêves", Australian Aboriginal Art at Atelier Grognard, Rueil-Malmaison in 2010.
