With the work reproduced here ("Walawurru Eagle Dreaming"), the artist illustrates a legend of his people, according to which an eagle set up its nest in the sacred site of Yuwarli (north of Yuendumu).
We don't know much more about this story, known only to the initiated. Nevertheless, the ancestor's nest, seen from the sky, can be recognized in the center of the canvas, along with his paw prints all around.
